100% UNBLEACHED COTTON

Durable and reusable: Ensures long-lasting use and reduces waste compared with paper filters. With proper care, it can be used up to 60 times.

BALANCED FLAVOR AND TEXTURE

Metal filters give more body but less clarity; paper filters offer clearer flavors with less body. Our filter balances both, retaining sediment while letting oils pass through.

EASY TO CLEAN

Plinc filters come apart for easy cleaning. Unlike others, they do not rust over time and allow each part to be washed and stored separately.

The Plinc Filter

The filter's 4-inch diameter allows water to be poured evenly over the ground coffee, helping achieve balanced extraction by wetting all the coffee particles more uniformly.

The shape of the filter and the fabric's high thread count allow water to flow evenly, neither too quickly nor too slowly, contributing to balanced extraction and concentration.

We recommend a medium to medium-fine grind to balance extraction time and avoid coffee that is weak and acidic (under-extracted) or bitter (over-extracted).

Filter care

To keep the filter in good condition, we recommend rinsing it after each use and storing it in a covered container of water in the refrigerator. If used less frequently, it can be stored in the freezer in a ziplock bag.

We suggest replacing the filter after 60 uses. Over time, the fabric fibers can become saturated and lose some of their permeability, affecting extraction time and the quality of the drink. Replacing the filter regularly helps ensure proper extraction and prevent unwanted flavors or odors.
