Over three hours, you'll explore different spaces designed to approach coffee from different perspectives. We'll walk through the cloud forest and farm, gather around a table with coffee, fruit and local pastries, take part in sensory exercises and guided tastings, and finish by brewing coffee together in the Coffee Lab.

We walk through the cloud forest and our coffee farm as we explore coffee's origins, history, cultivation and some of the challenges it faces today. We discuss the future of coffee and how research and the development of new varieties seek to preserve this drink for future generations.
We share coffee, fruit and local pastries as we discover how origin, variety, processing and roasting influence the character of each coffee.
Through sensory exercises and guided tastings, we explore how aroma, taste and memory influence the way we perceive coffee.
We finish by brewing coffee as we explore the main brewing variables and how small changes can influence the final result in a cup.
During the experience, you'll enjoy coffee, refreshing drinks, fresh fruit and local pastries, along with sensory exercises to explore aromas and flavors, guided tastings and a hands-on coffee-brewing activity. Afterwards, you can visit the Plinc shop, where you'll find the coffees tasted during the experience and our products to keep enjoying coffee at home.
All our experiences require advance booking and take place in small groups. This creates the time and space to chat, ask questions, share observations and enjoy every moment at a relaxed pace.
The experience takes place on our coffee farm, surrounded by Monteverde's cloud forest. Every space was created to be part of the journey, bringing nature, conversation, tasting and brewing together in one experience. During the Immersive Coffee Experience, the farm is reserved exclusively for participants, creating an atmosphere of tranquility, privacy and connection with the place.
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours. It is offered Tuesday to Sunday, starting at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. Each session welcomes a maximum of 6 participants and is available in Spanish and English. The price is US$84 per person.
